Breeders’ Cup

Of course those with a passion for horse racing and casual spectators alike know of three Triple Crown horse races, the Kentucky Derby, the Belmont Stakes and the Preakness Stakes. Perhaps less familiar to some casual fans is the Breeders’ Cup Classic, the race with the highest stakes of them all, and Priority One Jets can get you there in the ultimate of convenience, comfort and safety.

Private Jet Breeders’ Cup

The Breeders’ Cup World Championships is a two-day $26 Million event attracting the best horses, trainers and jockeys from all over the world. This year, it is returning to Kentucky. Began in 1984, the Breeders’ Cup quickly became an American favorite, behind only the Triple Crown races and on par with the Kentucky Oaks. The meet which consists of 13 races in all divisions is the culmination of the horse racing season worldwide, and the defining event of the international racing season. Spectator attendance at the event trails only those races noted, and often times surpasses that of the Belmont Stakes.

The Breeders’ Cup Classic is run at 1 1/4 miles, and with the $5 million purse it is the richest race in all of North America. It is open to horses 3-years-old and older and is limited to 14 starters. Seven of this year’s starters have gained automatic entries into the race by qualifying through Breeders’ Cup Challenge “Win and you’re in” series. As per usual the many other dirt and turf races that make up the Breeders’ Cup are the tops in their respective divisions. In 2015, one of the races was the Breeders’ Cup Sprint which was headed by Private Zone, winner of the Priority One Jets sponsored Forego Stakes at Saratoga that summer. Priority One Jets has a strong bond with the sport of horse racing and was the proud sponsor of the Forego Stakes, ran as the $700,000 Priority One Jets Forego for 2015 through 2016. In partnership with the New York Racing Association, Priority One Jets is also the Preferred Private Jet Service Provider of the elite Saratoga meet.
